Where books go to get reviewed
Custer Died for Your Sins - Vine Deloria Jr. This is a really in your face type of book. We know about the dispicable treatment of Native Americans by the U.S. government in the 1800s. But there was more injustice well into the 1960s as outlined here. I don't agree with everything the author says and the sociological aspects in a few of the chapters was a bit arid, but if you don't know about one of the saddest chapters of American history this is a good place to start.
