Where books go to get reviewed
To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee I tend to approach classics with a certain amount of trepidation. Which explains why it took me so long to get to this. I've found a goodly number to be overrated. I was waiting for a major event in this book and then realized it wasn't necessary. Then I knew I was really hooked. It's hard to believe Harper Lee never wrote another novel. This book has a lot to say about racism and human stupidity. It gets around to making its point slowly at first, then by increasing degrees. This is an amazingly crafted book that was as timely when it was written as it will be ages from now. Everyone should read this.
