Where books go to get reviewed
International Cloud Atlas, Vol. 2 - G.O.P. Obasi, World Meteorological Organization By far the best book I've ever read on clouds. Numbers at the margin of each photo refer to the cloud types so they are easy to locate and the text explains where and when the picture was taken. In some cases even the synoptic situation is cited. The book is oversized horizontally allowing for large size photos and the cloud information is specific. For instance it's not just cirrus, it's cirrus floccus. An outstanding book for anyone interested in the weather or who wants to learn more about clouds. The drawbacks are this book isn't cheap and is no longer in print but it's well worth the effort to locate a copy.
