Here I am, 4 books and 3500 or whatever pages into this saga. I don't have patience in great supply so the fact that I'm still reading and enjoying this series when others of innumerable pages have fallen by the wayside gives evidence to the strength of the writing.Yes, like the rest of the english speaking people of Earth I believe this is not the best book of the series. But George R.R. Martin is one hell of a raconteur and if he left a few characters out of A Feast for Crows there are at least 100 others to take up the slack. Also there is never a big cliffhanger at the end of these books that needs to be resolved as the story goes along with all the subplots. And boy are there subplots.Looking forward to the next one in the series.
