Where books go to get reviewed
Thirteen Reasons Why - Jay Asher This book was a real tough one to rate. On one hand it has a very importatnt message to tell. This book should be required reading at the junior high level. But for me, there's a flaw in this book. We never really feel the suffering and pain of the protagonist. She seems too much like a drama queen and as a result it's harder to sympathize with her. The book should have gotten more into her head. The tempo is non stop, and the story is told from a unique angle but the novel is too superficial.
